Mar 29, 2019 - If you want to use a different language in Windows XP, there are a few different. The Microsoft website offers a variety of Language Packs that you can install. Make sure that it is the same language you selected for the SP3 file. 0416 = “pt-br;Portuguese (Brazil)”; 0816 = “pt;Portuguese (Portugal)”; 0417. Windows XP Language Interface Pack. Microsoft Windows XP Language Interface Pack (LIP) is a high-quality, localized 'skin' for emerging or minority language markets, such as Catalan, Lithuanian, and Thai - it is not available in English. Based on MUI technology, LIP provides the desktop user with an approximately 80% localized user experience.
You could
use one of your XP SP2 CD's and slipstream SP3. Or uninstall SP3 and then install the language pack, and install SP3 again.

Download nLite from here

And Install then copy the contents of the SP2 CD to a Temp Folder on a HDD and the use nLite to merge the SP3 ISO and the SP2 Install Media into a Slipstreamed SP2 Install Disc.
